Through their commitment to community service, high academic achievement, and demonstrated leadership skills, they have distinguished themself as an exceptional role model for their sister Girl Scouts.
A Senior majoring in Classical Vocal Music at the Professional
Performing Arts High School in Manhattan, Jalyn combines her passion
for the arts with her commitment to social change.
Having earned her Bronze and Silver Awards, Jalyn is now pursuing her Gold Award with a project titled “Tell Your Story.” Her project creates safe spaces for teenagers and young adults—especially people of color—to share their personal experiences with discrimination.
Through interactive workshops and a documentary, she aims to raise awareness about racism in NYC public schools, foster open dialogue, and inspire lasting change. Inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement and her own experiences in the school system, Jalyn uses her voice—both artistic and activist—to bring people together and build more inclusive communities.
